Care Standards
In addition to our regular reviews, we understand how important it is to gather the views of our clients regarding the services that we provide. We have developed a quality assurance questionnaire to enable us to measure how our customers feel about the various aspects of the care that we provide. However, we recognise that not everyone will want to formalise their thoughts in this way and there will be others who, for a variety of reasons, may not be able to complete it. For those who need help in completing the forms we try to arrange for a family member or an independent person to assist.
In the event of a client having a complaint, we have a formal procedure in place that ensures that it is dealt with effectively and which allows recourse to the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) if a client is not satisfied with the outcome.
CSCI has a duty to ensure that we adhere to current regulations. The procedures for this are currently under review and the criteria for the frequency of inspections that an agency might expect is being amended. An up to date summary of the proposed changes can be found on the CSCI web site.
The reports following the inspections of Bath Community Care Limited are available to be viewed on CSCI's web site.
If you cannot access the CSCI website and would like to take a look at a copy of
our latest inspection reports, please ask and we will make one available to you.
